Sensory bin fillers can be poured into any dry container. Add different tools such as spoons, cups, funnels, trays, etc. to encourage children’s play. They will begin to explore the materials while working on their fine motor needs, problem solving, sorting, imaginary play, independence, and more. Materials can be used again and again when stored in a dry airtight bag or container.

We use a non-toxic water based acrylic paint to color most of our mixes. It is approved for sensory play and has the AP seal. It is non-toxic however it is not ment to be mouthed or eaten. Some of our mixes also use food coloring.

Sensory play is essential for growing children. This type of play can activate the child’s senses, build brain connections, encourage language, and fine motor skills, promote problem solving, as well as help them regulate their emotions. These hands-on activities are great for open ended play.
